Vetcall is currently seeking a dedicated Dog Behaviourist and Trainer to become part of our popular four Gold Coast locations in Ashmore, Mudgeeraba, Mermaid Waters and Burleigh.

About the Role

Are you a qualified and experienced dog trainer confident in providing Puppy Pre-School, Puppy Club and Adolescent Training classes to our vet clinic clients across 3-4 week day evenings and Saturday mornings.

About You

  • A professional, energetic and engaging style to ensure our clients and their puppies experience an enriching and rewarding session together.

  • Experienced in teaching young puppies 8-15 weeks (pre-school) trust and socialisation skills, cues and commands, introducing toilet and crate training and lead techniques.

  • Passionate about helping puppies aged 15+ weeks (puppy club) learn through both enrichment and obedience training sessions, grooming and nutrition.

  • Creating a happy and healthy bond between owners and their adolescent dog with more advanced training and one on one care throughout their teenage months.

  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of puppy and dog behaviour, nurturing and wellness, distractors and motivators, fear free techniques and positive reinforcement.

  • Looking to grow your career by partnering with the largest Veterinary network in Australia and New Zealand.
